Zenitsu Agatsuma fights asleep, channelling Thunder Breathing in a single blinding stroke — and his lightning-themed blade is one of the most requested swords in all of Demon Slayer. This handmade Zenitsu katana reproduces it as a genuine working piece for fans and collectors who want more than a wall-hanger.

Forging & Steel

The 72 cm blade is forged from 1060 carbon steel, a high-carbon alloy that holds a real edge while staying resilient under impact. It is hand-polished to draw out the steel and mounted on a full-tang core, making the katana one continuous, dependable piece. Two bamboo mekugi secure the tang for full disassembly.

Mounts & Fittings

Carved iron tsuba and menuki seat the balance near the hand, the synthetic-shagreen wrap gives a secure grip, and the lightweight lacquered wood saya keeps the draw fast and the presentation clean.

Care & Maintenance

A high-carbon blade like this rewards a little upkeep. Because 1060 steel is reactive, wipe the blade down after every handling session and lay on a thin film of light mineral or camellia oil before it slides back into the saya, which stops surface rust from ever taking hold. Knock out the two bamboo mekugi when you want to strip the sword for a deeper clean, and store it edge-up on a stand so the lacquered scabbard never bears the weight of the blade. Treated this way, it stays keen, bright and display-ready for years.

Is it battle-ready?

Yes. The sharpened, full-tang 1060 blade handles light tatami practice and looks the part on a stand. See more of our anime katana range, including the Tanjiro katana and the Giyu Tomioka katana.
